This theme is the best. It made my laptop look amazing instead of the boring pre-set colours. Just wish windows would create a messenger plus that is by them, then it wouldn't be dodgey... :)

It looks great. The only downsides (quite minor) are needing Sp2 or later to install, and that the included background is not that great. however I think it is the best theme theme available for XP (officially, that is ;).

I'm old-fashioned and when I began running an XP OS I never cared (for some reason) for the blue-green XP "look." I clicked the option that gave me "Classic" screens and windows and themes (that's what I was used to anyway). The Zune theme, however, was so eye-soothing to me that I really took to it. Then I clicked to display Windows XP in the (former blue-green) updated XP mode, and got my next pleasant surprise. The XP windows and skins were now acceptable, no more "Classic." Borders are easy on the eyes black/grey, and highlight buttons are gold-orange. Sweet! Would like to thank Microsoft for Zune.

"A nice theme with no complications"

It's an official Microsoft theme, so there are no issues with it, i've used it for a year now and it works perfectly. The old blue was getting boring, this just makes a nice change, without using unstable 3rd party themes. Simple installation too.
Cons
There are no cons. It is safe to use and wont give you any problems.
Summary
It's just a black theme with an orange start button by Microsoft. It installs just like any other program, there is no messing about to do. As far as i can remember, once i had installed the theme, it automatically changed, but if for some reason it doesn't change after installation, just try the following. Right click on your desktop, select properties, then select the new Zune theme from the drop down box, that's it. I didn't think much of the wallpaper that comes prepacked with it, but you can change it of course. I like this theme a lot, it's also free. 5 stars just because official Microsoft themes for windows XP are so rare. There are a couple more, if you care to search for them, but Zune is the best of them i think.

The Zune Theme from Microsoft is a pleasure to have on one's desktop. It looks awesome and performs great. If your into colors like black and orange, this is a must have.
