Microsoft Word 97 Import Filter lets you import Word 97 (Word 8.0) documents into Adobe PageMaker 6.5 (or later) publications. This update adds support for graphics stored as Portable Network Graphic (PNG) files, enabling PageMaker to import WordArt or Office 97 clip art graphics. It also imports in-line graphics created in all six graphics formats available in Word 97 documents (PNG, JPEG, EMF, WMF, PICT, and BMP), if those graphics filters are installed on your computer. Version 1.4 of the filter now imports Office 97 graphics, if the PNG import filter is installed on your computer.
