Pros
Seems to be comprehensive. Supports import of data. Has a large collection of pre-defined wine regions, subcategories etc.
Cons
Import seems to drop some data. I see no field for the winery/vintner (??!!!!). Structured approach makes it difficult or impossible to classify wines and YOU wish (e.g.: lump many cabs together for searching and comparative purposes regardless of country of origin). Documentation won't address my basic questions (cant import tons of data). Email support has gone missing nearly a week now. Maybe he's on holiday, i dont know.
Summary
as of 2012 --- Might be great. Might be flawed. without support, documentation, or user-help/support sites, its hard to know. Much of the site is down. Company does not respond. Seems a shame.

But it has become obsolete and needs a lift:
Overall update,
iphone scanner support,
iphone/ipad version with sync,
connection to safari so we can open a winery/dealer site from wine xt relevant fields.
