    "What was windows thinking"

    Pros

    It's an easy to use interface and detects the light viruses like spyware. It is also free. The program itself is pretty small.

    Cons

    It uses the windows firewall which sucks and the scaanner isn't much better than windows defender. Very sad security.

    Summary

    Could be much better is suggest you find another product.

    MSE running IE9 in protected mode with Smart Screen Filter on will block 99% of all malware.
