This update protects you from a vulnerability in PowerPoint that could allow arbitrary code to be executed on your computer. Malicious hackers could lure users into opening a PowerPoint file that causes undesired and possibly damaging effects on the user's hard disk drive. This update replaces the PowerPoint.exe file and prevents unauthorized code from being executed.
