"Horrible Ribbon and user interface"
Pros: I dont see any, and even if there are, MS did its BS again and does not let me see them
Cons: HORRIBLE RIBBON and UI trash. Microsoft wants us to learn OFFICE
all over again. If they can give us a way to use the classic good ol'
user interface, we might consider it. Now, we only badmouth it.Summary: OFFICE 2007's RIBBON is HORRIBLE, bring back the old interface. read more

"This product reduces productivity. Unnecessary changes."
Pros: Can read other 2007 documents
Cons: Functionality is hidden, renamed, or removed. Can no longer dock/undock multiple personalized toolbars. Can no longer customize toolbar icon. Product moves you to different tabs automatically, requiring unnecessary navigation to find functionality.
Summary: I speak for several hundred people in a large corporation who are forced to use this product. We are angry at the functionality that has been taken away, renamed, or moved. Throw out the terminology you knew. Throw out the menus you memorized. Throw ... read more

"Great software. You can have it FOR FREE"
Pros: You do not have to spend lot of money for software licenses.
It's great to find a fully featured software that doesn't cost.
