    "Basic capabilities made difficult"

    September 5, 2012  |   By andyjrudy

There are some neat tools which can make the programs a little easier and faster to use.

Office for mac requires a complete Re-Learning of office. Commands in excel have changed (e.g. F4 no longer makes cells absolute), creating charts is difficult and instead of giving warning windows like on PC, mac will simply disregard input information if it is incorrect. I have spent years using excel and word and I felt like a 5 year old trying to use the mac version of office. Pretty much EVERYTHING I'VE TRIED TO DO IN OFFICE FOR MAC SO FAR HAS BEEN INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT. Office is essential to getting work done on a computer and it's not possible on a mac. I'm really wishing I had bought a PC for that reason.
