"POS Oh it wants at least 10 characters? POS POS POS P"

    Version: Microsoft Office 2011 14.2.5

It's supposed to work on a Mac

It doesn't work well on a Mac

Bugs and time consuming BS! In the six months I've had this software I haven't seen a single upgrade or software revision.

Instead of addressing the issues and revising the software, it seems that Microsoft just lists pages and pages of step-by-step fix-it directions that make the consumer do all the work.

    Typical Microsoft crap

    "Most stable release to-date"

    Version: Microsoft Office 2011 14.2.5

    New features
More robust and intuitive user interface

The UI is requiring that I put something here, apparently. So, there ya have it.

Having used Microsoft Office on a Mac for many years, this version is, by far, the most stable.

In 10.6-8, no bugs experienced, and I use Word, specifically, very heavily. Updates and fixes are frequent.

This version of Microsoft Office for Mac is the most compatible release for Mac.

"Fairly accurate review but didn't mention all the bugs."

    Version: Microsoft Office 2011 14.2.5

    As per above

I have to say Auto recovery function in the software is very effective after a crash when you haven't saved your work. As I detail below I have found the office suite software to be very buggy, testing it on several computers. I have become obsessive saving my documents. However in the instances where I haven't saved and experience a crash autosave almost always brings up my work right where I left it.

Extremely buggy. I have run the software on several computers and have found way too many bugs. The original release should have been called a Beta. The software updates have improved the functionality so obviously Microsoft is aware of the problem. But the fixes come too slow and there are still lot's of bugs left. This is the buggiest software I have ever used.

A couple of the most glaring examples
    search still doesn't work
computer freezes when it goes to sleep and XL or Word are running
    frequent crashes of the program

Extremely, Extremely, buggy. Most Beta releases are more reliable than the current release of this software. Wish there was another realistic word processing alternative and that I could get my money back.
