"Simdata refutes downright lies made by thest"

    April 28, 2005  |   By rrroonn

Version: MiFiles - My Internet Files 1.12c

    Pros

We should be able to respond to such ridiculous and damaging claims. This product has been designed to be the easiest to use FTP client regardless of how much money you pay. We have put a lot of effort into updating and maintaining this as a free program and its popularity is obviously starting to concern some of the opposition.

We will never try any underhanded tactics to gain information such as what was described - firstly because we are not the slightest bit interested in it and, secondly because we value our reputation for honesty and integrity very highly. We value old fashioned values like honesty, integrity and reliability above profits and it is a shame that others can't do the same.

miFiles is a totally free ftp client program and is very highly praised where-ever you look for honest reviews. It is very powerful, very fast and will replace your current ftp client if you bother to give it a go.

    Cons

Its just a (good) client and is not scripted or multi-threaded but who really needs more than this anyway? 99 percent of users will find it ideal for their use.

    "Don't Trust IT!"

    April 21, 2005  |   By thest

Version: MiFiles - My Internet Files 1.12c

    Pros

didn't get far enough for pros

    Cons

Don't trust this app! I can't say for sure whether or not they are stealing passwords for FTP sites. But I do know the first thing this program did after I entered a password to connect to an FTP site was to try to send information to their own site.

"makes ftp easy for a novice like me"

    January 14, 2005  |

Version: MiFiles - My Internet Files 1.12c

    Summary

I downloaded MiFiles, installed it and was transferring files to my ISP in no more than a half hour. MiFiles only needed a few pieces of info, all the fields were on my ISP's FAQ page.
Very easy to use and does the function I need of simple upload, delete, replace.

    "This is now the best"

    January 2, 2005  |

Version: MiFiles - My Internet Files 1.12c

    Summary

I used Filezilla for a long time because I considered it the best of the free ftp programs. However, having tried MiFiles for several weeks now, I have to say it's a better program. It's extrememely fast at connecting, downloading, and uploading. Although you have to "register" and also put up with an information box that appears for about 2 seconds each time you start the program, if you want a speedy, easy to setup and use ftp program, this is it!

"Installed and was using it in minutes."

    December 27, 2004  |

Version: MiFiles - My Internet Files 1.12c

    Summary

I tried several of the popular FTP clients and was about to buy one although none were easy to use. Noticed MiFiles and had my 16 page Allwebco template-based website uploaded and live in 15 minutes.
