"Works perfectly, exactly as described"
Version: Memory Improve Master Free Version 6.1.2.369
Pros
Seamless operation, mainly in the background, with some more advanced features a couple of clicks away if you need them.
Cons
Haven't found any. It pops up with an offer to upgrade to a paid version every time I run the program, but since it's intended to be running all the time, you only see this screen once in a while. Since I put my computer to sleep or hibernate instead of a complete shutdown, the program is almost never popping up for me. And since the basic version is FREE, I wouldn't whine about a simple pop-up once in a while.
Summary
I was doing a lot of work on photo editing of multiple images, cutting, pasting, transferring from one program to another, etc. and was running out of memory here and there and, of course, had to save all my work and all my windows and do a complete shut down to "flush out" the system and start fresh.
I see in my review I accidentally called the program the wrong name 2 times out of 3. :-) The actual name of the program is Memory Improve Master (Free Version.)
I thought there was probably a better way, do I went to CNET and searched for a background utility to free up memory. Memory Free Master seemed highly rated and recommended so I gave it a try. I've been EXTREMELY happy with the results and have also installed it on my wife's computer now.
It installs and runs completely painlessly (Running a Dell and an HP on Vista, each with about 2gb of memory,) and does exactly what you expect it to: frees up memory. I'm not sure how it does that or how it decides what is free, but I see a little pop-up down by the clock about every ten minutes saying something like "Memory Free Master report. Memory free before: 49%, Memory free after: 41%" I love it.
You can probably change it so it's not popping up to tell you that (it's a tiny pop up over by the clock on the right,) and I think I saw an option to change how often it attempts to free memory (I have it set for 10 minutes) but I really like the pop up because it give me a good feeling every time I see it because I hate running low on memory.
You can also click on the little icon for the program that's sitting next to the clock, and it will INSTANTLY open the interface where you can change settings, or click "Free memory now" if you're working on something memory-intensive and don't want to wait for the next automatic run. There's also another button for "Deep compress" for which the help text says basically "only use this when you really need it!" Kind of feels like "don't press this red button here," so I haven't pressed it. I haven't needed to - I have only had "low on memory" warnings from my programs once or twice since installing Memory Improve Master, but never "out of memory, shutting down" issues, so I feel like the program is really doing it's job well. I recommend it basically to everyone, because it's so polite and runs in the background and is doing something we probably all need. Great program!

"Works Fine And Is Really Free!"
Version: Memory Improve Master Free Version 6.1.2.369
Pros
This is really alot more novice friendly than CNET's review may have one to believe. There is a Wizard to configure it. Just hit the recommend button on each page and save. It's just that easy. It made a noticeable difference in my 2 G RAM Win 7.
Cons
I wish you had the choice in auto free mode between time interval or percentage of RAM freeing. The only choice is time interval. Then again I whine alot.
Summary
It works fine for me. Has a nice U I and can be user friendly if the steps I outlined above are applied. You will find the wizard under Configuration and Settings. Try it! I think you will like it also.
