With MemoriesOnTV, creating a DVD slide show packed with special effects is a walk in the park. The software divides each task, such as importing images and music, adding effects, and creating DVD menus, into separate screens.
The timeline view unifies the different aspects of the authoring process, allowing you to instantly set transition effects and preview how your slide show will run. Time-saving tools such as image- and scene-transition editors are cleverly presented as they're needed. For additional cost, you can download slide shows called ClipShows, which come with transition effects built-in; you just replace the sample images with your own.
On the negative side, customization for DVD menus is somewhat limited, allowing little more than power over background and placement of control buttons. Despite that shortcoming, the end results are impressive. With a few minutes of work, you'll have an eye-catching slide show that will run on nearly any DVD player.

MemoriesOnTV allows you to create professional slideshows easily from your digital photos and video clips. The video you create can be burnt onto CD/DVD recordable using the built-in burner and then played on a TV via a standard DVD player. You can also output your show to web pages (flash), or save them as AVI or MPG files. MemoriesOnTV's strength is in its visual effects. You can have effects such as multi-pictures on single slide, slideshow in slideshow, text caption animation, or Ken Burns pan/zoom effects.
What's new in this version: Version 4.1.2 added support for Windows 7, and includes bug fixes.

Pros
I like making slideshows accompanied by music for posting to YouTube. This does a good job of allowing creation of fairly elaborate transitions and effects.
Cons
My slideshows involve fairly precise timing of slides against music. It would be good if it weren't quite so easy to throw off the timing of the rest of the slideshow when making adjustments to particular sections. Better section isolation needed.

i have been useing momeries on tv for the past four years at the beginning i was have a bit of problems but the people in Singapour are so noce the solve my problem with ease . my self i take a lot of pictures of nature ,birthday ,and put music to the picture on a lightscrib disc and give copies to all my friends they love what you can do with the program . the day i was burning 372 pictures of a trip to portugal there was one corrupt picture witch i had to find as if would not work until if was found .well worth the price. This program is so easy to use. It has excellent built in features. The clip shows give your shows a really professional touch. Very Classy. The forum is real a great help with many good ideas. Tech support was really fast when I had a question!

I really don't have any negative feedback. They could update features more often...

Well worth the cost. It has a lot of flexibility and is really easy to learn! And with the forum website I've made some really nice slide shows!

This is an evaluation version which puts that watermark on all the outputs. License costs too much and moreover the software is very slow. To load, the photos, to create a video, whatever.

needs a face-lift, no significant advancements in this version. Some effects cut or hide photos in funny ways.
Summary
Very nice, easy and inexpensive software, but do you really need it? Today most PCs / Macs come with pre-installed movie makers/video editors, most DVD burner software includes such functions. So the question is "Do you really need an additional software for creating a photo slide show?"

Creation of DVD's for distribution was simple. So simple, I used the program to create 15 DVDs instead of using my DVD copy program. It was also very simple to create the ON-Line presentation for distribution on our family web page.
