  "Doesn't do Mini-disc (camcorder)"

  Wasn't able to use.

  Cons

  It can't read my DVD RAM mini-disc from my camcorder. I highly recommend CDCheck for this.

  "Found my pictures and office files"

  Pros

  Accidentally lost files from my hard drive. MediaRECOVER PRO was the best solution I found on Download.com. Easy to follow recovery instructions...just sit back and let it work for you.

  Cons

  Had 1 issue with activating the product. It was quickly fixed.

  "This one did the trick!"

  Summary

  I agree with previous reviewer - it would only recover one file to prove what it could do. In this case, I have tried other approaches to no avail, and was ready to toss my 128 Mbyte SSFDC, but I decided to give this one a try after reading some testimonials on the web (mind you, not those posted by the company). Viola! My files were recovered (not exactly quickly). Even after my camera claimed the media was unformatable - even after my windows XP said "all data will be erased - do you wish to continue" and I did - three times!
  I am now going to reformat the card and hope (fingers crossed) that it will be recognized once again by my camera.

  "useless demo"

  cannot save allegedly recovered files, so cannot tell what, if anything, is really recovered or how well recovery works.
