Version: MediaMonkey 2.5.1
Pros: MediaMonkey simply can't be compared to other players/managers(such as iTunes,Winamp, MusicMatch or Windows Media Player). It's features, even in the free version, are second to none.
It's stable and doesn't use or require too many system resources.
Even with large music collections, MediaMonkey is not crippled and still runs at optimal speed.
It has a great support forum with plenty of users who are willing to answer any questions or problems you may have.
Add in the fact that new versions are consistently released with many new features each time...Oh, did I meantion, you may also submit any new features you may want.
Have a good look at your music program and ask yourself, is it really for you? Try MediaMonkey and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

"Very good, even @ large music collections!"
Pros: It's allways works rapidly, even if you have a large music collection, i've got 20 GB of music, and it still works very fast.
There are different skins and visualisers.
Cons: There aren't alot of skins and visualisers.

Version: MediaMonkey 2.5.1
Pros: I've actually had this piece of software for a time now and since i'm so satisfied with it I thought I should give it review! So here we go:
If you like me has a big collection of music in different file types, some of it ripped and some of it dl:ed. Then this is the software for you. The library handling is truly amazing!! But yet simple.
If you want to get your collection in perfect shape regarding tags and album art, file names and folder structure, this is it.
If you want to be able to play all kinds of file types gaplessly and normalize them, this is it.
Do you want to rip in various formats or burn CD's, DVD's in wave or mp3 format, this is it.
Do you want Party mode, Auto DJ?
Do you want a lot of cool scripts or perhaps create one yourself to even more enhance the functionally of this beauty of software?
Do you want good help in the forum if you have any problem?
Do you want all this for free?
Stop looking!
You had find the software you want.
(If you pay for the Gold version, which I have done, you'll get more features like "File monitoring" and "Auto playlist".)
Cons: I miss two things with this software:
1. Full cuesheet support (There are playback support through scripts developed)
2. Tag existing files from FreeDB (It is however possible todo it through Amazon)

Version: MediaMonkey 2.5.1
"Very good organizer and indespensable at large music collections."
Pros: There are so many cons with software.
1) There is a genious, fully customizable, auto-organizing feature where you can make your own formula whether how to rename and even move all files to.
2) Auto-tag from Amazon gives you full advantage when browsing for album art. iTunes has this feature too, but then you need to do this prosess all manually.
3) Advanced scripts like Auto-increment tracks, Case checker (genious!) etc.
4) Genious sharing and backing up your library. You can sync flawlessly with iPod and other portable devices. MediaMonkey was one of the first supporting syncronizing with album art, and they were the first with the auto-convert when syncing feature.
You can take backup of your music collection using the advanced playlists and criteria for what to include when burning. You can both burn to data DVD and audio/data CD.
5) Great converters and fully customizable support of several formats.
Check it out, and give it a try. It's the fastest organizer/player there is in my opinion.

Version: MediaMonkey 2.5.1
Pros: After having the Real player choke at about 1,000 songs and Windows player die at about 2,000 songs and iTunes just taking too freaking long to do anything, I found MediaMonkey. I now have almost 18,000 entries and even doing something like "view all tracks" takes less than a minute. I am able to update my tracks and standardize the way they are entered, the tags I put in MediaMonkey actually updates the file itself correctly, the look and feel of the product is very professional. I like the quick fade when you jump from one track to another or turn it off. Nothing abrupt.
Cons: I haven't figured out a way to reset the reports, so my "top ten" played artists and albums have 200+ entries from when I first started playing stuff in MediaMonkey. I'd like to have a parameter function (top ten by date, etc.) for the reports. This is a very minor quibble though.
