Version: MediaMonkey 2.3.1.845
Pros: Gorgeous, intuitive interface. Excellent sound quality. Very customizable, even in the Free Version. It eats up few memory, unlike WMP 10; my old favorite. You can burn faster in MM Gold, and rip faster too. I am very satisfied with MediaMonkey, that's why I purchased MediaMonkey Gold! More power, better! Get MediaMonkey/Gold NOW!
Cons: It doesn't have a toolbar option like iTunes or WMP 10. The rest, it's perfect!

"Excellent! I Can't Believe It's Free!"
Pros: WOW, it really IS possible to get something for nothing! Here's a no-cost, fully functional, spyware-free program that rivals similar applications costing as much as $50! This well designed software offers a great looking, highy intuitive GUI and runs like greased lightning on Windows XP! I'm especially impressed with MediaMonkey's ability to tag and/or auto-tag a huge variety of compressed formats including MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC, MPC as well as uncompressed WAV files! The built-in player produces decent quality audio and includes a 10-band EQ plus the ability to utilize dozens of worthwhile plugins, many of which are free. Alternatively, there's an option to launch files directly through WinAmp5, which to my ear produced noticeably superior audio versus the built-in. Unlike many media organizers, the free version of MediaMonkey includes darn near everything most users would ever need. For $20, the "Gold" upgrade adds a number of extras for those wanting a more customizable feature set and integrated CD burning.
Cons: External player capability limited to WinAmp. In future versions, the option to auto-launch other popular apps such as JetAudio, WMP, RealPlayer, etc., would be appreciated.

"Great, i dumped WMP and RealPlayer for this"
Pros: It's great, it looks great and it has great organizational tools for managing you collection. sounds great and uses very little system recources. Sync to MP3 player. Easy to use. Wonderful interface. FREE.
Cons: Equalizer presets arent as good as WMP's. No visualizations. no toolbar mode.
