figured it out without instructions. Worked fine on copying unprotected DVD. Some reviews say it doesn't work with XP but I found that's because the DVD decoder is defective. Get a new decoder and MediaLion DVD Ripper Pro worked totally fine.

Quick, good quality transfers (for the most part) into a good range of formats.
Cons
Sometimes vague interface with ambiguous / unexplained options. Requests for support have been unanswered.
Summary
I purchased this so that I could rip straight to a format compatible with my Creative Zen. In the most part it's done quite well with quick good quality rips (after spending considerable time working out the interface and the correct settings), but I'm having problems with Anamorphic encoded DVD's (recorded from TV) and the quality nosedived. I've emailed Medialion over a number of weeks, but have had no reply. I now have to use a combination of Handbrake and Creative's own software to rip these types of recordings (which now takes hours rather than the 1/2 hour it took with DVD Ripper Pro). If they resolve this problem I'll re-visit this posting, otherwise I would advise caution spending any money on this.

So easy to use. The thing I like most is I don't have to be a computer knowitall to use it. It does everything I need and that's much more than I can say about the rest.

Pros
Interface is easy to use, popups keep you from doing anything stupid, and the results are absolutely top-notch. I don't think anyone would need any other ripper for home-based audio work.

I am amazed on how this program works, above all I have used in the past. I really like this program. I have used several other programs and really just don't work right. I always have jumpy video afterwards and such so. Thanks for this program.
