"Go get it!"
Version: Media Purveyor 1.2
Pros
As a photographer, I have used many photo organizing programs over the years, including shareware and commercial. How surprised I was to find this wonderful program. It's extremely versatile and full featured. The thumbnail browser is fast, and offers many options to sort and organize your photos. You can add multiple keywords to your shots, bookmark your favorite directories, and search using a remarkable number of different criteria. You can view a photo fullscreen, or a group of photos in a nice slideshow presentation/
The built in editor has many options for touching up your photos, and adding special effects. And, unlike most other photo editors, your original photo is never sacrificed! You can make many different edited versions of the same photo, and always return to the original at anytime. And the editing data is saved inside the photo file itself, not as copies, and never destroying the original photo!
These are only a few of Purveyor's features. I recommend this program to anybody looking for a better way to organize, touch up, and share your photos. And the fact it is completely free with no spyware or adware of any kind, makes it all that much more impressive. What are you waiting for? Go get it!
Cons
none that I can think of.

"Even better than the first version..."
Version: Media Purveyor 1.0.1
Pros
I can easily categorize all of my images into searchable groups and then just by sending the images themselves, my parents can view and search through all of the grandchildren pictures that they get.
In the last version, it was good, but the user interface was a little tricky in places and it took some getting used to. The new version shows that they really listen to feedback and respond by making the product better. It is a LOT easier to use than it ever was before.

"This is an awesome product"
Version: Media Purveyor 1.0.1
Pros
I have an image database of over 10,000 images, in hundreds of directories... Media Purveyor brought them all together. Easy to use... Highly recommend this product.

"Cannot make this work"
Version: Media Purveyor 0.9.2b
Summary
I cannot make this application function. It finds no photo's on my drive. I have tried a reboot and a re-install. Ans on the website there is no support or email address. So forget this application and look for something like picasa

"you should try this"
Version: Media Purveyor 0.9.2b
Summary
I really like the edit features, like the oil paint, and emboss. I think that it is awesome that I can edit an image and not lose the original. The only problem with the application is that it is alittle hard to figure out at first, but if you play with it for a while it is pretty easy. The searching capability is cool also.

"Definitely need to check this out."
Version: Media Purveyor 0.9.2b
Summary
The interface is not that obvious and the documentation is almost absent but if you work through it a little this program does a good bit of stuff. Some of it I don't think I've seen before... and hey, it's free!

"Very cool..."
Version: Media Purveyor 0.9.2b
Summary
I have been able to use the software to completely organize my family photos.
The user interface has a bit of a learing curve but once you get used to it, it works beautifully and once I started getting my photos done I was able to send JUST THE PHOTOS to my parents and they were able to to find pictures of just my daughter, or just my daughter at christmas, or whatever they wanted to see.
I didn't have to build albums and export them and send clumsy config files. Just the pictures themselves.
That makes things easier because I can just send them as I get them scanned instead of trying to build an album and exporting it for them.
One down side is lack of documentation. But it looks like a pre-release, so maybe that will come with the regular release.
