Hi, the pack does not have to be installed using the detailed option to unselect the optional toolbar. The toolbar can be easily unselected in either the detailed install or easy install. An image is also shown to reduce chances of users failing to notice the option.
There is only one toolbar offered and it is not spyware, spyware is something completely different. If you wish to know more about spyware you can easily find information in any search engine.
The installer will only install the 64bit codecs on a 64bit version of Windows, regardless of them being ticked on a 32bit version of Windows. If you mouse over the 64bit components in the detailed install there is a message which states "NOTE: This component will only install on a 64bit version of Windows". I have stated this repeatedly for other reviewers.
