Pros: does decode (and play) most popular video format extensions

"Plays everything with some caveats"
Pros: Allows me to play pretty much anything with Windows Media Player
Cons: MP3, WMA, and FLAC files don't show up in the file menu as media files.
Summary: I like that it plays everything that I could possibly throw at it when I double click on the file. However, when I go to access the file thru "file"-"open", common media formats don't show up in the file list anymore. I have even gone in and associ... read more

Pros: None. Have uninstalled this pointless download.
Cons: Did nothing to help me play a basic DVD.
Summary: Totally useless download. Did nothing to help me play DVDs thru either WMP or GOM. Look elsewhere if you need a valid codec pack. read more
