All Mac-versions of AutoDesk products are horrible. The screen artifacts and other graphcis glitches are a product embarrassment to say the least. Often times "something" is better than "nothing," well this isn't one of those times. This is terrible, same goes for AliasStudio, etc. For $2000 you'd think AutoDesk would deliver something other than this shoddy port. -

JUST a BIG FYI, Maya 6 Unlimited is in the updater, I installed it over Complete and i now have unlimited on my mac. -

Maya for Mac is a GREAT application and is going to get a lot better in September with the release of Unlimited for OSX. Runs great on my Dual2.0 G5 and is stable and responsive.

Alias has said that the amount of their market belonging to the mac has even grown larger... and they are bringing Unlimited to the Mac now.
Maya 6 performs fantastically on my Dual G5 2Ghz... I think its coming around in being optimized for the mac.
As for workstation cards I wish I could get one too, but the Radeon 9800 Special Edition and XT will do the majority of users great. They are insanely fast and have 256mb Memory.
