Version: Maxthon 2.1.4.443
Pros: Very fast, highly sophisticated, full of useful features and significant security improvements. Maybe, in this latest version, the best of all the Trident-based browsers - far more usable than IE7. I suggest visiting the Maxthon website to check out the extra features, which are far too numerous to go into here.

Pros: Don't make the mistake of thinking of this as just another Internet Explorer shell. Maxthon uses the Trident rendering engine embedded in Windows, as does IE, but it's an entirely different UI. Using Trident, almost all web pages will render as their designers intended. Many of the features included as standard in Maxthon are only obtainable as extensions in Firefox 3.0, if at all, and this goes for security features as well.
Cons: Very little to dislike. A proper English help file would be good, however, rather than just an online community FAQ. Experienced browser users will find Maxthon intuitive enough, but novices may need more introduction than the (excellent as far as it goes) post-installation walk-though.

Cons: Still, a Trident Browser has the same amount of security as IE7, use a more protective Browser.
