"Suspect downloaded paralysing virus"

Detects pleny of spyware and scans quickly.

It may have downloaded a devastating virus which attacked the core of my system - had to pay for a reinstal...many emails have resulted in computer generated standard replies. No human responses, explanations or offer of rebate or compensation.

Steer clear at all costs - I have completely uninstalled this and the registry cleaner, despite having paid up-front for both. I noticed that many times when I downloaded an update my Comodo anti virus warned me of malware.....and of a potential virus seeking to change the protected heart of the system: Max Secuirty assured me these were false positives. The last one brought the system to a paralysing halt, quickly leaving me with the blue screen of death. It cost me £40 to have Windows reinstalled and my documents saved. Despite several emails to Max sScurity I have only received requests to send them the log...but I don't have one, everything having been destroyed. This has twice been explained and the messages have been ignored. Maybe there is another explanation - but Max Secure doesn't seem able to provide one, or be interested in engaging me in discussion.

The only way I got my money back was to threaten them with legal action and to let them know I was going to report them to CNET as advertising a false 30 day money back guarantee.

I wrote "None" but I was told I must wright at least 10 characters. I think I have done that now. Again, after 3 years of using this program I have NO "cons" ... just praise!

You MUST buy this program in order to remove spywares. When you uninstall, you'll have to reboot. Sucks. It also a very big file.

It is no wonder this program is not popular. You must buy the program in order for it to remove the spyware and virus it found. This program also contain a spyware in itself. Spybot Search & Destroy detected a malicious program from Spyware Detector when I launch the program.
THIS PROGRAM IS USLESS. YOU HAVE TO BUY IN ORDER TO REMOVE THE SPYWARES IT FOUND. The free trail is useless in this case if it cannot perform its function. -
