This is the best 3rd person shooter I've ever played on the pc.The graphics are smooth despite my 64 mb graphics card on a laptop.Controls are excellent couldn't be better.Lots of action and drama.I'm buying it and probably the original so I will know what's going on.

....but other games are better. I was really looking foreward to this one, ever since the first max payne came out. I played the demo as soon as it was released, and as I said, was disappointed. In the first max payne, you go after horne, and kill her. Alfred wooden in the first game promises the charges against you will be dropped, if you do take care of her. you take horne out, and see max in the back of a police car. in this one, max is in a hospital, and this one makes no refrence to the first max payne, with the exception of watching the previously screen, in both the deom, or the full game. People, If you want a better demo and full game, Try Doom 3.

This game is one of the best that i personally have ever played. If you have dial up, DO NOT even try to download. It will take about 11 hours. A DSL high- speed internet modem is perfect for this. The download will take about a half-hour. The graphics are phonominal. Details could not get better. I have a $100.00 graphics card and man does it play it great. If your reading this right now, you definitly need a DOWNLOAD of Max Payne. ( Rated M for Mature-18+)

This demo has a decent slice of all the gameplay experienced in the full game of Max Payne 2, but it is the complete immersion in the fantastic noir plot and characters that make the full edition so fantastic so I cannot recommend more highly that anyone who likes a groundbreakingly good 9 hours of gaming joy buy it. Even without playing this demo!

To be honest I was expecting more, the review made it sound a lot better than the first, there was only one new feature added which was a different way of reloading when in bullet-time mode (which doesn't happen often), take too long to load and graphics require your computer to have a MONSTROUSLY high-end graphics card or else you won't be able to play, overall I'd recommend it.
