Version: Matilda's Fantastic Cookbook Software 1.1
"Easy to use, but quirky."
Pros: Formatting is done for you. You can make a simple recipe book quickly.
Cons: 1. Quirky
Summary: Usable software if you can tolerate the quirks and or okay with the decisions it makes for you. It does the job of formatting the recipes for you. That's good and bad. Control is mostly out of your hands. If you like that, this may work for you. But, if you are a Word power user or are comfortable doing your own page layouts, this software would frustrate you.
2. Limited formatting options
If you abbreviate something, the period causes the next word to be capitalized. Ex: pkg of Cream cheese. If you try to correct the problem, the software changes it back.
Another annoying "feature", is attempting to use their buttons for fractions. The software places the symbol after the last letter in your recipe, not at the cursor.
Also, if you want your ingredients for a recipe in two columns, forget it. The software formats things the way it wants to, not the way you might.
