MarsEdit is designed to make writing for the web like writing email. It has a main window listing weblogs and recent posts, and you create and edit posts in separate document windows. A screen shot illustrates.
It works with various weblog systems: Blosxom, Conversant, Manila, Movable Type, Radio UserLand, TypePad, WordPress, and others.
For everyone who bought NetNewsWire 1.x, all NetNewsWire 2.x and all MarsEdit 1.x upgrades are free.
What's new in this version:
The old weblog editor used a single window for both listing previous posts and editing new posts.
MarsEdit works more like email: the main window lists weblogs and previous posts and shows previews. You create and edit posts in separate windows. (HereÂ’s a screen shot.)
