"It's very good but looks like it's a trial, not free"
Pros
It does what it's supposed to very well.
Cons
I think it should list itself as a trial version, not a free version. Reading the description it sounds like your getting a free version and can upgrade to the pro if you want more. But I downloaded the 'free' version a few weeks ago and now I'm getting a pop-up that the trial version will expire in 5 days. It says I can click on it to purchase it.
Summary
I've used Malwarebytes for about 8 years. I've used it in conjunction with Anti-virus software. It's always worked well. Years ago I used Norton. Eventually I switched to Trend after Norton got too bulky where you couldn't do anything on the computer while it was running and it took awhile to run.
There have been about 2 instances where Malwarebytes picked up on something that Trend missed. It's a nice product to run in conjunction with an Antivirus program. For me, I'd use the free version but it's not worth the $30 to purchase it. I'm not saying it's not a good product that isn't worth the cost. But it does turn me off the product a bit when they say it's free and then you start getting messages that you need to purchase it.

It is a trial of the full version. the free version is free. It will give you the option to stay with the free version if you choose not to upgrade. Also the best damn malware protector avail. 3 year user.

I disagree with everyone saying it is not free. I have used it free for a couple years now and also have used the trial version which is a year long! I will gladly pay for this any day of the week .It has saved my computer twice now and the only time I wasn't using it a virus hit my computer so bad it shut down and had to be sent to the factory for a complete restore! This program is hands down the finest program out there. I wish others could put the amount of effort into their programs as well.
