    "Good Solid Software"

    Pros

    I tried the free version without the real time protection shield. Easy to install andeasy to uninstall. No error(s), problem(s) or crash(es). No slow down of the PC. Fast Scan takes about 2 minutes.

    There are no cons!

    Summary

    Ideal fow Windows 8, where McAfee causes errors after updating, Windows Defender takes 2 minutes to enable after boot up and avast causes a Blue Screen Of Death (AWSnet.sys). There is no real protection shield in the free version, so you have to scan more times especially after internetting with the fast scan to be sure of no malware.
