Pros
Fast & easy. Found and corrected multiple threats on my daughters machine. Found and corrected several on my wife's and my computer. It is used "primarily" as a secondary protection program. I use the free version. For free you can't beat it!
Everything it found on my computers it flagged and corrected with nary a burp. I don't know what it couldn't/ wouldn't clean in one of the other post's!Cons
This is but really isn't a con. In the free version you must manually do updates and scans. It isn't(free ver.) proactive but reactive, it finds and corrects things after the fact. But hey, I'm not using the paid version so I can't really complain and I'm not!
I can't fault the makers of MalWarebytes for me being cheap!Summary
IMHO it is a very good free program! As always you get what you pay for, the free version is stripped down which is to be expected! They can't help it that I'm cheap!
