Version: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.30
"Very good freeware for sure......"
Pros: I've read the reviews & agree with all but the one claiming Ad-Aware is better. This one doesn't detect cookies, just the real nasties. It updates often & in the quick scan, it's vary fast without false positives. It also has File Assassin built in.
Cons: This is a keeper for me as my #2 for a daily quick scan. No cons so far at all.
Summary: In most cases, you get what you pay for. In this case you get an excellent anti-malware app for free. Hard to beat that & I especially love that it doesn't detect cookies & has File Assassin built in under more tools. File Assassin is a great file shredder that can remove locked files & the only one I've seen that can.
