My system was completely paralysed by a nasty malware, which meant that I couldn't access any of my personal data even to back it up. I tried several other anti-virus and anti-malware applications and all of them failed. Only this software was able to save my system and I'm seriously grateful.

Takes some time to run scans but does an excellent job in spotting spyware and viruses.

Before I got MBAM I ran with MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials for those who aren't knowledgeable on tech speak like myself). One day I come home to find that I have a virus on my home computer well of course i follow the protocol and try to get rid of it. Apparently though this was a nasty bug because no matter how many times i scanned or what i did with MSE that thing would always reappear. So it came down to me searching all of the internet for a way to manually remove this thing before it could do any real damage. After searching for god knows how long i came across so many message boards all warning that doing this manually could permanently damage my computer. As a last ditch effort I took a friends advice and tried MBAM. It literally took the program 5 minutes to clean my computer when i spent DAYS trying to research how to do it manually and find the correct files that had been planted. I would recommend this to anyone with security issues and i just want to say thank you so much to the makers of this fine product.
