can do a quick scan which 9 times outta ten takes care of the problems

i make less money with this out, as now i can just tell my customers to use malwarebytes to fix themselves what i usually charge to do. ;-)

i have been using malware bytes for several years now in the past 18 months i have used firefox as my browser with add ons to stop popups and malicious code and this once a week to scan my system.
so far no threats (but i dont open just any webpage or attachments)
hope it stays free cause they about put me out of business. but it was well worth it. -

not a great deal to dislike for it works, sure, a full scan takes time - but it has to so as to find the hidden viruses

when all else had failed Malb found the trojans and worm and data stealer that my fully paid big name a/v let thru. they had completely taken over my machine and Malb sorted it - for that I'm grateful. the new 'system tool 2011' is even more sinister - beware out there!

Completely removed the virus I was hit by a few days ago that had locked up my pc and even hijacked Microsofts security center.

None so far.

A trojan.fakealert found it's way on my PC and at the time no Malwarebytes.(I put off the download) It gave me HELL,But I was able to get the program to download. After two runs it found it,and that was that. It's a must have and it's FREE.

Was recommended by BullGuard antivirus company, when I was having troubles with BG. And it worked a treat.
Its on my pc for ever. Great user friendly product that doesnt cause problems my other software.Cons

"Removed XP Antispyware 2011 (infected 22 Nov 10)"

it works, ran the quick scan: found a few problems, XP AntiSpyware was still there, ran the update and then the quick scan, found 6 issues, cleaned them-no sign of XP Antispyware after the restart :very quick scan (other programs found 0 after hours)
Cons
non found, cant fault it after 3 days trying with other products

It works - quick ans simple.
no complex menus
clear options ,
the fact that the quick scan took about 10 mins compared to an hour or 2 with some professional products that I have subscribed too.
will be looking at the cost of the paid version -
