Pros
Version 1.29 appears to have finally got rid of Platte Media desktop icon plus associated popup problems I had on my system. Flipping brilliant. Tell everyone.
Cons
Nothing at all.
Summary
Downloaded version 1.29 today. Ran full scan. Found 17 problems all associated with the Platte Media scam. All sucessfully deleted.

Great program. Could not find a way to remove the dreaded red circle / white x until i downloaded this. Easy fix. Very happy.

Summary
My experience of MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware was definitely positive! My computer was infected with the dreaded "AntiVirus XP" malware that I previously had to format to get rid of(drastic, I know, but..). This program saved my computer, and many files that were totally irreplacable, and my thanks definitely go to the creators. As the other comments have said, don't let the size fool you, the program gets things done in a speedy, easy to understand manner, unlike an awful lot of other programs. Five stars, and two thumbs up.

v1.29 drastically improves heuristics. Fast Scanning, VERY effective, This updates very frequently, max 10 times a day! VERY Small download: 2.2MB.

For a 2.2MB download, and under 4MB install size - This little baby simply kicks ass. It's popularity has grown ALOT, How many forums and people are using this software is alot, This & SUPERAntispyware is a winning combination, To the coders of this software: You guys are geniuses! !

Of course we ALL love free software, but i love free software that works well !! and Malwarebytes works very well indeed! Updating is a breeze with 2 or 3 daily updates. Also like the fact a full scan only takes 25 minutes on my laptop. Great stuff !

Nothing to complain about, what more can you ask for from free software !!?? I love it !
Summary
I must admit i was a bit dubious when i saw that it was only just over 2 Mb in size. But listen, don't let that bother you at all. In the past i always thought in terms of anti spyware/malware size was important...how wrong i was! This software is very efficient indeed and finds things that those bloated fat cats leave behind!! (Ad-aware, Spyware Terminator for example) Also just check out the comments from the last version just to see what this anti-malware is achieving, it's amazing stuff ! Ok, you might say the free version of Malwarebytes doesn't have "real time protection". To be honest i don't think it works that well in others, i had real time protection installed with Spyware Terminator and it still left everything through! Just do a manual scan at the end of the day before you just down your computer, no problems. Also with some of these 'real time protection" offered it gives a false sense of security. Especially when you install Malwarebytes for the first time and find your computer is loaded with malware/spyware...so much for the protection ha ha!! So Ad-aware, Superantispyware and Spyware Terminator...the bloated fat cats have long gone! And now i am running a clean computer thanks to Malwarebytes ! ( and A-squared as my back up)
So, if you were like me (or are now) tired of bloated non working anti-malware/spyware, then just give this free efficient software a try, and i tell you what, you won't be disappointed with Malwarebytes at all !!
