"Excellent Virus Killer!"
Version: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.30
Pros
Very effective, quick and permanent virus killer. It is so easy and the results are great.
Cons
Nothing, everything worked great.
Summary
Very easy and quick software! The software scanned my harddrive in 20-30 minutes and zapped the trojan virus permanently that Ad-aware, windows defender and McAfee security center could not. Very pleased with the result.

Some of the programs can not make it out of the 'bad' no matter what you do.

"Disappointed. After paying, codes given were "invalid"."
Version: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.30
Pros
Product "appeared" to do the job. Had no problem with trying the "free" product.
Cons
After registering, and paying fee, found my "codes" did not work. Could not actually "unlock" program. Working with "helpdesk" at this time. They seem to have a "database" problem. Will see what happens. Am not pleased.
Summary
At present, am not happy. Registered the product and found that the "codes" given me were inoperative. Registration fee handled by a different company..."Cleverbridge". They stated they "cannot answer specific product-related questions", and referred me to the help desk. Will wait two or three days to see what R&D comes up with, but at this time, my fee was paid for a registration that DOES NOT work. Am not a happy camper.

"Loved it!!"
Version: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.30
Pros
This program is quick, easy to use, and thorough. It was rec'd to me by bleepingcomputers.com when I had a virus I couldn't shake (XP). It took care of it. I've since been using this. I'll be trying this on my Vista and I seriously hope it works.
Cons
Haven't caught any cons yet on my XP.
Summary
Good program to dl for your regular antiviral/antispyware arsenal.

"Very Effective But Not Completely So"
Version: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.30
Pros
After Spydoctor, Spybot and other program failed to remove AntiVirus 2009,Anti- Malware did a better job and got my system functioning . It's fast and simple to use. Plus, it doesn't interfere with other programs.
Cons
Once I got my system back up I went into the registry and system 32 files to do a search for bits of Antivirus 2009 and found over 30 pieces left. These were , I assume, lurking and waiting to repropagate. Malaware should have found them.
Summary
As freeware it's great and the paid version is probably worth the investment. Much better than competitor programs. However, the best use of theis program is along with advice from the Major Geeks web site.
