have only used it a few times but it seems to have found a virus that Norton did not and I think (fingers crossed) it removed it successfully.

Would like an auto shut off after scan option but you usually have to pay for that feature and I did not pay.

It seemed to be working OK at first.

It seemed to be causing some problems, so removed it and somehow my Zone Alarm Firewall was disabled. It was so bad that I had to go back and download a new copy of Zone Alarm 11.0 and install that. Not really sure what actually happened, but didn't want to operate with the firewall working. I had the program on 2 different computers, and they came up not working properly today. I also removed Advanced System Care from both my W7 computers and also my Nexus 10 Tablets. I will not install anymore of these kinds of programs since they seem to introduce more problems than they solve. Would like to give this program 0 Stars rather than one.

Really think Twice ab out installing these programs, since they may end up causing malfunctions on your computer. My computers had been running fine and installed these for extra protection, but somehow they seemed to have cause a problem. After removing this program and restarting computer, it started OK and the Zone Alarm firewall started to. Initially it did not come on before removing this Program and then installing the copy of Zone Alarm that I had downloaded. Not sure if the program or Advanced System Care caused my problem, but have removed them both, and now things came up good on my second boot. If you computer seems to be working OK, just leave it alone if it has a good firewall and anti virus installed.

I can't believe I actually paid for this. I'd rather deal with any malware than with the false positive from the company that actually was supposed to protect me from it. None of the fixes released by them work on my computer and they are unhelpful. I am no computer geek so now I have to pay someone to make this new computer operational again! Do Not Buy this.

When it works, its is helpful at stopping malware. Just as easy to download when your concerned you have malware.

I have installed and uninstalled this software numerous times. But no more. I get an error message that trial version has ended. I downloaded the FREE version, so no trial. Error message happens just after rebooting. No valid reason for this. Searched internet and forums. Cannot find valid reason for this occuring with regularity. Fixes listed online do not solve problem.
Summary
CANNOT RECOMMEND. Received error just by rebooting or turning off computer and turning it back on. Fixes listed online do not work. Not worth the headache.

I used the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (free version) to get rid of the FBI Malware Virus which locked my Windows 7 64-bit Laptop. This company deserves special recognition for the outstanding results that I obtained from Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.75.

I for one ordered the pro version. Set it and forget it.

I used the free version. So it cost me only hours of my time.
Cons
This hung up my computer, using 96-98% of the CPU and locking out attempts to remove it for hours. I finally used Windows Explorer to destroy a few parts at the beginning of each restart until I hit something vital. This took hours.
Summary
I wish it had worked. I wish CNet had warned me of this possibility.
