It states Free to use and then when you set it up and then go to upload it, you have to buy. You could at least let the user get one (1) upload to see if it works.

I have a Motorola phone and its software is fine but I just wanted to see if this product was what this product can do. I love software that can do what I want to do effortlessly and this isn't. Glad that Moto is there for me!

Looks good at first but is not. It says Free to try but is not. Before getting a ring tone you either have register the software or pay for each ring tone you want. Says it can download direct to your computer but must be after you register, don?t see the option at this time. SO this was NOT what I was looking for.

Very easy to use, and it makes ringtones I want. Quality is very good, and ringtone setup is easy (trivial for Verizon). Can use it to make ringtone gifts for friends. Price and upgrade / support policy is right one for this product.

Documentation was sufficient, but non-trivial to find it all.

This download is awesome. I've made hundreds of ringtones off my CD collection and save so much money. I have unlimited mulitmedia messages on my cell phone plan, so I just use the option of sending the tone to my phone, and its like magic. Excellent download. Very easy to use!

"Simple, easy and fun to use to make unlimited ringtones"

Pros
Sometimes simple is good and most effective. When looking for some way to make my own ringtones, I tested a good handful of applications and this was by far the most simple and no frills but exactly what I wanted. Other applications had plug-ins and more features which might be interesting for others users, but for me, I just wanted to make ringtones from music on my computer rather than have to pay Verizon $3 a pop.
The ringtone comes directly to my phone, but it also says that you can download it first to your computer then to phone.
I was able to make ringtones for my roommate too since the software is not limited to just one cell phone number, another bonus which I did not know when I bought it.
