What's new in version 1.9.27
The minimum mailer window size has been expanded and the server settings are now configured from a separate sheet window. These changes were made in order to reduce window congestion by separating items, and making some controls larger for clarity. (Use the new "Server Settings" button to specify the mail server, port and authentications settings in the new Server Settings window.)
The ability to reload an import file has been added as a new function in a new "Import Task" popup menu, which also includes the previous functions for revealing the current import file in the Finder and removing it as an import file.
Improved compatibility with more mail servers by switching to a new method of saying hello to the mail server (by using EHLO vs. HELO by default.)
The default character set and priority menu's are now always displayed (they were previously optional using Preferences.)
The behavior of the default character set menu has changed in that a default selection now exists, namely Western European. (Note that the character set selected from this menu is only used as the message character set if no character set is specified in the HTML body of the message.)
Email subject is now always encoded using base64 (with UTF-8 character set) adding compatibility with other languages; fixed a bug with long subjects not displaying properly.
Fixed two bugs that were corrupting memory on program launch and termination.
Updated documentation for these changes.
