Mail.app is great for email and comes free with every Mac. However, like many email applications, it doesn't take long before you have lots of mail windows open and before you know it, your desktop is cluttered with messages. Tabs have revolutionized the way we browse multiple web pages, now they are doing the same for email.
View, compose, reply, forward and edit messages in tabs.
Automatic plug-in updates.
Had to force quit Mail first time ever. Video Chat in iChat stopped working and had to restart computer. No access to http://simplicity.fm
Can't currently tell if the iChat Video problem was related to MailTabs or the fact that MailTabs was locking up Mail. I just want to uninstall MailTabs but will have to figure out how since the developer's website won't come up. Arggg!!!!
Solves Mail.app's main issue at a stroke -- and for free.
None so far.
I migrated from Eudora to Mail when OS-X appeared, but I never got to like it as much. It's never been easy to find the Mail window you needed. I can't think of any other program which needed tabs so much. Great.
