- Mail Beacon now works properly with mac.com's IMAP servers.
- Added Message Formats - like signatures, but better.
- Mail Beacon's preferences file can now be stored in the same folder as the application(to avoid conflicts with multiple versions in the future)
- Added a "Remember Flagged Messages" option.
- The Tab key now cycles through flagged messages.
- From fields that don't match Return Path fields are now highlighted in red.
- Fixed a bug that sometimes caused a "Failed Assertion" on quit.
- You can now view Mail Beacon's cache.
- Mail Beacon now accepts "mailto" URLs.
- Mail Beacon now sends "In-Reply-To" and "References" headers when appropriate.
- Added a "Verify New" field to the "Change Password" window.
- Fixed a SMTP bug.
- Quoted text is now automatically wrapped at 100 characters.
- You can now color code reply text.
- Added a "Wrap..." command.
- Added a "Find Selection" menuitem that finds the next occurance of the currently selected text.
- Outgoing messages containing non-ASCII characters are now sent in UTF-8.
- Non-ASCII characters in header fields are now decoded & sent correctly.
- You can use message flags(New, Flagged, Read) as criteria in the Find Message window.
- Removed Zooming options.
- Multiline ToolTips are now easier to read.
- The Password Entry window no longer causes the main window to open when the Cancel button is pressed.
- Fixed a display bug related to the logout/deletion progress.
- Rewrote & enhanced the header parsing code.
- From, Subject, and Date header fields are now cached seperately to increase application speed.
- Sorting is now drastically faster, especially when sorting by date.
- Mail Beacon now expires after 30 trial uses.
- Many other changes not listed here.
