This game offers a nice rendition of the classic Chinese tile game mahjong. The installation flies by. After you launch it, Mahjong Mania amazes you with its stylish graphics, especially the Chinese-like script. The tiles are laid over a lovely background photo, enticing you to uncover it by clearing the board. You can customize the game extensively by setting image, audio, and background themes. Our one complaint is the lack of a Hint button; you just have to keep playing until you clear the board or until the game tells you there are no more moves. Other than that, Mahjong Mania should please puzzle fans.

Play one of the traditional 144-tile boards or challenge one of the monstrous 10-layer-high versions with up to 1,600 tiles. Keep the game fresh by downloading new boards online or make your own with the Creator tool. This also is the only mahjong game that lets you expand the fun with downloadable theme packs to add more graphics, music, and fun. With Mahjong Mania Deluxe, you can customize the game to your liking with features such as the ability to add your own photos as background and to hide the toolbar to see more of the playing area.
