I installed and it gave me an error that my trial had expired! There was no way to use it. I tried Magix website but they require registration and the usual name/password junk for software owned.
Summary
I don't know if I like it because it won't install on my W7 machine. I've used Pinnacle and Sony Vegas and they work fine.

effects, and a little easy to use when it worked.

It worked fine to edit one movie and now it crashes everytime i open it up. paid a hundred dollars for it. im demanding a 50 percent refund. i dont get no technical support. i wrote an email 3 days ago and still no reply.
Summary
dont buy unless you like things that crash and slow down your comp.

Easy to use and is powerful to edit 1GB dvd video

Minor thing as it takes 5 or 6 minutes to export a 4-min video into mp4 (26MB file)

Installed no problem for me and it works great. I am pretty new to video editing and the program seems to be working well for me. I am already on my third video.
Cons
It has been a good experience - took me a minute to find where my media was kept - but then I was right to work

Easy for me to use and learn. I started with Video Easy now using this because I wanted to use some of the more advanced functions

Definately worth a try. I bought it on sale on their site it was a pretty good deal considering how much the one on the Sony site.

I downloaded the software, and i meet all system requirements, but every time i try the trial, after about 5 seconds i get a blue screen. I would not recommend this download

"SImply doesn't work converting .mp4 to DVD"

All the editing capabilities are great. I like everything about the program except that it simply will not take my .mp4 files and convert them to a burned DVD.
Cons
Program doesn't work for .mp4. Sometimes it converts to full audio, black screen video. Other times the program simply crashes trying to access a non-existent drive. User support has been non-existent.
Summary
If they can fix the problems with converting .mp4 to DVD, then this would be a great product. However, their customer support seems to have given up solving the problems I'm having, despite having run their diagnostic programs for them and sending them screenshots of the error messages to prove that there is a problem. I'm glad I didn't spend the money to buy this and used their extended trial first. I was never able to succesfully burn a DVD that was totally correct.

"Looks powerful, if you can figure out the interface"

Installs easily; seems to have a lot of features and filters and transitions. Has a timeline and a storyboard interface.
Cons
I found it difficult to use, as it is an unusual interface and not very intuitive. It also didn't burn anything to disk, it tried but failed.
Summary
I have used Windows movie Maker and Arcsoft's Show Biz with great success and ease, (Windows crashes expected and accepted) but this program failed to impress me; it was difficult to move between the features, and it seemed to take too long to do anything; I tried it on a trial basis and will not be purchasing it. I really haven't found a great video editing program so far; every one has pluses and minuses. You may find this program to your liking; just be sure to download the trial before purchasing. I like Magix products a lot, and have used Magix's Music Maker for years, but this program just didn't rise to the standard I expect in a video editor in terms of ease of use.
