Version: MagicISO Maker 5.3 build 229
Pros: .uif image processing capability,
low disk cost
Cons: First thing I noticed is that this program uses way too much system resources (at least during the writing process). I've got Athlon XP 2500+ (Barton core) and though anyone can oppose it's quite old-fashioned machine I still hardly ever encounter an application hungry enough to make it work at full thrust (except for video encoding, rendering 3D graphics using software such as 3Ds MAX or running calculation intensive simulations), so I guess the programmers didn't make much effort optimizing it. It seems the program is extremely bad written because I'm also using other backup/authoring software such as Alcohol 120% & Nero Burning ROM without having the same issues (CPU usage is always staying under 10% even while writing at the fastest possible speeds but MagicISO made it spike sky-high while writing only at 4xDVD speed). Generally speaking this program doesn't offer anything extraordinary and given to it's bad optimization I can hardly recommand anyone using it.
