"Don't waste your time."
Version: Magic M4A to MP3 Converter 3.72
Pros
There are no "pros." I just spent $20 to buy this stupid thing after converting only TWO files (it says it allows 3 in the trial version). I have yet to receive a password or any instructions in email. I am going to ask PayPal to give me a refund. THIS IS CRAP. DO NOT BUY IT.
Cons
Every last thing.

"Super-easy user interface"
Version: Magic M4A to MP3 Converter 3.72
Pros
Easily batch converted about 250 songs from .m4a (itunes) to MP3s, so I could play on a non-ipod mp3 player
IT's FREE SO FAR as I can tellCons
Somewhat lengthy process (which I can understand since I converted so many files at once) but I could not see how far along is was or see an estimate of the time remaining

"Demo allows you to convert only 3 files."
Version: Magic M4A to MP3 Converter 3.72
Pros
Uh, converts file, maybe?
Cons
Demo only allows you to convert 3 files before paying. What is this, 1999? Go download some other free software that really works.

Pros
Worked... for three songs

I get it, the company wants to make money for their creation. However I didn't want to spend anything either. So i guess that's the rub.

3 song trial... really ???? laughable.Summary
There are many tools that do this for free:
http://www.maniactools.com/soft/m4a-to-mp3-converter/index.shtml
I have heard this program has links to other software, but it is easy and fast.
or even on download.cnet.com here:
http://download.cnet.com/Koyote-Free-Mp3-Wma-Converter/3000-2140_4-10442362.html
Haven't reviewed this either since I can do this easier and faster in Linux :) ... but it is free and works.
I have heard MediaMonkey free does this as well, but cannot verify this. -
