"Highly recommend, cant believe its free"
Pros: Im managed to create 30-second track in less than one hour which i cant achieve it using FruityLoop or Cubase, really simple trust me.

"Excellent music production software"
Pros: Unlike the 2 boneheads who wrote the above reviews, saying the software is too hard to use, I think it is entirely user-friendly and intuitive. Sure you may have to look in the manual a few times, but if you're too much of a moron to learn a professional tool than maybe you should try washing dishes for a living.
The sequencer is in the traditional tracker format where you enter note values via the keyboard, making it easy to alter note parameters, by entering values after the note. The program has full VST implementation and awesome automation envelopes on VSTs, and built in effects. Best of all it's free, and it performs better than expensive programs like cubase
Cons: Minor glitches. Program sometimes freezes with certain VST's but this is something you can work around. Would like to have the ability to have multiple songs loaded so you can copy and paste between them.

"The only tool you need, to make a hi-quality song of your mind!"
Pros: Once you have learned this pro music tool, you can make high quality music fast and effective, you have endless of possibilities, and freedom to make the tunes just the way you want it to be.
This program supports vst plugins, for very high quality samples. It has also a rewire function if you want to use madtracker inside another music program.
Its a must to learn this program for anyone who works with pro music!
The choice is truely yours with this program!
Cons: The program has a novice learning curve, but what professional music tool has not? Once you master Madtracker 2, you will be addicted to this powerfull music tool forever!
