This Web script recorder handles basic tasks well, but requires a separate program to run the resulting macros. MacroScript WebRecorder's interface is an advanced user's dream: full of buttons, menus, boxes, and a browser display. With a little help file investigation, most users can create their first Web macro in a few minutes. Our testers also found the program's first major problem in a few minutes: this recorder failed to handle embedded JavaScript pull-down boxes. Choosing one was simply ignored by the script recorder, and playback failed, though there was no error message.
We were frustrated that a separate program must be downloaded and installed to run macros. The first script generates an error dialog warning the user that a DLL must be placed in the system path or the script must reflect the location of the DLL. Both procedures are guaranteed to make a novice's eyes glaze over. Advanced users will find the scripts easy to edit and the commands logical. Users who like to build and edit scripts will appreciate the time-saving Tag Extraction Wizard.
Nevertheless, we didn't appreciate the need for a separate scheduler/player. While this isn't a macro recorder for novices, advanced users may like the simple command structure for quick-and-dirty Web macros.

Version: MacroScript WebRecorder 1.71
"Outstanding Product!! Outstanding Tech Support!!"
Pros: I ordered WebRecorder and have run some very complex scripts and functions with the product for my business. The best thing about the product is the technical support I have received when I have had a question regarding scripting. A member of the support team at MJTNET called me in Dallas from London AT MJTNET's EXPENSE to assist me with a minor scripting question. The technical support also has very fast email response times considering the 12 hour time zone difference. I buy alot of software online and have NEVER had anyone offer this level of service for such a low price. If you buy any software from MJTNET and have an issue, I dare you to email the support department. You will be satisfied with the result!! I GUARANTEE IT! I also own MacroSchedular Pro which is also an excellent product!
