  "Very Basic"

  Cons: There is no way to cancle the playing of a macro once you hit the play button.

  Version: Macro Recorder 1

  "Small and compact, works from DOS but no edit feature."

  Pros: Works from DOS so I can use a .BAT file and use windows scheduler.
  Ctrl-ESC will cancel a playing macro.
  Have use more than 15 times has yet to ask for money.

  Cons: Does not record mouse wheel events.
  Does not exit after macro has run.
  There is no way to edit a macro. If you have a long macro to change or you make a mistake when recording, you have to start over at the beginning.
  So Far Doesn't work on Vista

  "NOT free. Only trial use"

  Pros: Works well, for an extremely simple program

  Cons: only 15 free uses, then you have to pay. CNET should not allow deceptively-labeled programs.
  Also, no way to program in a delay function
