"Great macro recorder"
Pros
I tried out 4 other macro programs before testing Macro Express. Two were quite basic. The other two were very hard to get to grips with. Might be ok if you were a programmer. I’m an experienced computer user who simply wanted to be able to automate a number of repetitive input/search & replace etc type jobs.
I find Macro Express excellent. It is intuitive to use. Does basic macros well yet has enormous potential. It has a number of useful wizards (I’m not normally a fan of wizards).
There is, incidentally, an option to capture either all mouse movements or only movement before a mouse click. You can also opt to capture only keystrokes.
I get the impression that the software was written by people who really understood the quirks of running macros
