    "Completely unecessary..."

    Pros

    ZIP is a tried and true compression scheme. Although it only works perfectly with text documents and bitmap image files due to the nature of it's compression algorithm.

    Cons

    This software is completely pointless. The latest and greatest version of Mac OS creates .ZIP files natively. All you have to do is right-click (control click) the item, and tell your Mac to Archive the item(s). It will do the rest.

    Thank you! I laughed out loud when I realized this! I'm a new Mac user and you just saved me a whole lot of trouble! You should repost this on all of the program reviews. It would save alot of time for most.
