MacWise allows a Macintosh to be used as a terminal -- connected to a host computer directly or via modem. The emulators support video attributes such as dim, reverse, underline, 132-column modes, and graphic characters sent from the host computer, as well as enhanced Viewpoint mode. Features include phone list and dialer for Hayes-compatible modems, on-screen programmable function keys and more (as listed below).
What's new in this version:
Fix - Double-clicking on any file in the Finder that should load into MacWise was not working (fkey files, settings files, text files, and dialer files). This broke with one of the OS X updates and is now working again.
