I tried to use this tool a couple of times when I got incomplete rar files. Each time, it was not able to recover the missing files. I recommend to use UnRarX which seems to recover correctly. -

For months I've been evaluating 1 piece of shareware crap after the next - mostly the ones that sound so impressive on paper but that, once installed, prove to be nothing but buggy, unstable CPU-hoggers.
That's why it was so refreshing to come across MacPAR deLuxe. For me, this gem has performed exactly as promised every single time, and even better. It's rock solid and gets the job done efficiently. I think it's terrific. 5 stars all round. -

2.51 doesn't address the probelms with 2.5 not handling Par2 files
correctly, and now it doesn't handle RAR archive pieces that are named
(tagged) numerically, as in .001, rather than .001.rar.
2.43 handles this beautifully. I have reported to the author,
should (hopefully!) be fixed in the next release. -
