"Keeps my Mac so fresh and so clean"

Pros
This is a great app for keeping your Mac in tip-top shape. It is probably on the most useful applications I have on my Mac. Keeps my computer clean and gives warning when folders take up too much memory.
Cons
It will occasionally freeze my Mac and cause a reboot, but works well otherwise.

Fairly quick, easy to use, does a through job (as far as I can tell)
Cons
Does a cleaning job on all categories irregardless whether it got a clean bill-of-health or not - this seems to waste time. Fortunately, the cleaning process is reasonably fast.

I really wonder how necessary software like this is when used with Apple computers. There seems to be sufficient internal programs to keep everything cleaned up.

Quick (except when removing languages and associations) and thorough!
Cons
Removing language packs requires you enter your admin code on the mac every 15 minutes, I was going crazy!
Summary
This app essentially saved me over 40gb of space, if not more. I'm trying to find some ugly reality of this to rear it's head, but so far so good. Anyway, highly recommend buying as I did. Thx.

It's been a full day of working on this and my computer is a complete mess as a result.
I have had to reinstall numerous programs and some still just do not work.
It's a real disaster in my world thanks to this program.

"it works if you read the instructions"

I read the instructions, set the preferences and selected the files I wanted deleted. MacClease deleted only the files I selected and immediately recovered 5GB of disk space. It worked the first time I tried it.
I am no Einstein but this is not difficult software to use. The instructions are minimal and if I was unsure what I was deleting, the information panel told me what I was doing in plain English.
I can think of more complex software or confusing procedures to do what MacCleanse does so handily but that doesn't seem like a productive use of time and energy. -
