I've always had the need to turn PDFs into text or Word documents and this software has been so helpful in doing that. I've even used it to convert PDFs into Word. It has saved me a lot of time and effort.
Cons
Very simple drag and drop. I can't imagine why anyone would not like this software.
Summary
This program is the best .pdf to .doc converter I have ever used. Now, I can quickly, and easily, convert existing PDF's.

I have not tried to work with scanned documents, nor have I had any difficulty with activation.This PDF Converter has just made that task much easier.

It has been a long search, but at last I have found a PDF converter program
that really works.With Mac PDF Converter for Mac OS however, I now get more or less faithful copies of the original PDF files with graphics, photos, tables, charts etc.Cons
The conversion isn't always 100% though: but the errors are mostly
minor layout/font/OCR errors, and so far all of the errors have been easily
corrected from within the application to which PDF Converter has sent the data.Summary
THE GOOD:
Does a really good conversion job - and consistently good at that!
Converts "scanned image" PDF files into editable text (via OCR).
Easy to use: the Conversion Assistant is simplicity itself.
THE NOT-SO-GOOD:
No copy/paste facility.
